Xerox Kuwait participates in 7th E-Government Forum

From 12 to 14 November 2019, Xerox Kuwait participated in EGOV7, the 7th e-government forum, which gathered representatives from across Kuwait’s public entities and agencies, as well as participating private sector enterprises, to gain the necessary knowledge and understanding of how to develop the best possible, most efficient e-services platforms for citizens and residents.

Participants gathered to learn more about the technical tools, business processes, and human capital considerations when creating quality e-services. Attendees were introduced to the trends in smart government implementations and planning, organizational and technical initiatives that build teams’ capabilities in developing such services, and the role of artificial intelligence and automation in achieving these targets.

EGOV7 also held a technology exhibition where vendors and key commercial partners could showcase and demonstrate their products and services that support the development of such e-services.

Xerox Kuwait were able to showcase their diverse range of innovative products and services to visitors and participants, including the IWS: Xerox® Intelligent Workplace Services. The roadmap to an Efficient Workplace and Secured Environment. Helmi Abudheir, Software Solutions Business Manager of Xerox Middle East Operations and Emerging European Market also spoke at a seminar on the sidelines of the event, sharing with participants the wide portfolio of capabilities the IWS possesses, demonstrating how the product uses analytics, workflow automation, content management, security solutions, and print infrastructure to help workplaces become more efficient, employees more productive, and data more secure.

Overall, the event was an excellent opportunity for Xerox Kuwait to engage in direct discussions with government agencies looking to give citizens and residents the same ease and quality they have come to expect from private sector services, enabling the business to offer their services in the future planning of e-service initiatives, while boosting the brand’s business development efforts.
